Emmanuelle Cuccolo

PhD Student in Health Services Management

Emmanuelle Cuccolo (she/her) is a health services researcher. She is on a mission to inform better RSHE policy making and reduce violence against women and girls.

Emmanuelle completed a Master of Research in Sexuality and Gender Studies at the University of Birmingham. She conducted a research project on sexual anatomy representations currently used in secondary schools RSHE and on their impact on the lived experience of young people. She is now a PhD student in Health Services Management at University of Birmingham, where she is further investigating whether there are inaccuracies and discrepancies in the representations of feminine sexual anatomy in the RSHE curriculum in English secondary schools.

Emmanuelle is based in Birmingham, UK.
