Kai Schweizer (he/they) is a sexologist, researcher, and PhD student. He is on a mission to help marginalised folks have positive relationships with eating, exercise, sexuality, and their bodies.
Kai focuses on the intersections of eating disorders, gender diversity, and neurodivergence. He is a research affiliate for the Inside Out Institute for Eating Disorders and is working on IncludED, Australia's first study of LGBTIQA+ body image, disordered eating, and eating disorders. His PhD project will produce Australian-first guidelines for best practices in treating eating disorders in trans and gender-diverse people.
He also runs his own business, providing consultation and professional development to support LGBTIQA+ people with eating disorders.
Kai is based in Boorloo [Perth], Australia. He was born in the US.
