Ruby Rare (she/they) is a sex educator, author, and presenter. She is on a mission to help people feel more confident about sex and relationships, with an emphasis on queer rights, non-monogamy, and pleasure.
With a decade's experience in Relationship and Sex Education (RSE), Ruby is deeply passionate about educating people of all ages about sex, relationships, and our bodies. They are an an accredited sex educator and proud ambassador for Brook, the UK’s leading sexual health charity.
They are the author of Sex Ed: A Guide for Adults (2020) and The Non-Monogamy Playbook (2025). They also co-host of the The Ins and Outs podcast and are a resident sexpert on Sex Rated.
Ruby is based in Margate in the UK. She grew up in London and is a proud duel heritage babe - British and Sri Lankan.
